About Us
UOM Pro Bono Society is dedicated to providing free legal services to those in need. Our team of passionate law students and faculty members work together to offer support and guidance to underserved communities. Through our commitment to pro bono work, we aim to make a meaningful impact and uphold the principles of justice and equality.
Our Mission Statement
“This year, we aim to broaden our members’ exposure across diverse legal career paths. We are organising events with City and high street firms, chambers, and in-house counsel, including insight days, pupillage fairs, and networking sessions. We are also expanding volunteering opportunities by reviving past collaborations, strengthening existing partnerships, and establishing new ones with non-profit organisations. Finally, we are launching a series of flagship initiatives, from pro bono panels with legal professionals and alumni-led career insight sessions, to large-scale fundraising raffles and an article platform exploring pro bono and the wider legal profession.”
- 2025/2026 Pro Bono President, Rafe Hii Jin Hao
“ Engaging with our society does not only benefit the community, but also you. Not only will you become part of a society seeking to make a positive impact, but you will also enhance your university experience and potential to achieve your goals. Our society is committed to organise events that will provide you with support and networking opportunities that will help you achieve your professional aspirations, all while building meaningful friendships with your peers.”
